Greetings!
Recently I watched Ann Graham Lotz teaching on Effective Prayer. If you have time, I encourage you to go to her website and watch it as well. She talked on her book The Daniel Prayer. We did a study of the book months ago, but I am compelled to revisit the highlights.
Gideon had an army of over 30,000 and God gave him the Illogical Instruction to reduce the number to 300. Seriously God?!?!?!
In the natural, you would think that God would Increase rather than Decrease. BUT NO!!! NOT GOD!!! He always does the complete opposite of what we expect.
He answers prayers at the Midnight hour!!!
He answers prayers in a Suddenly!!!
He lets Lazarus die and then he brings him back to life. And on top of that He takes his time getting there.
He tells Abraham to kill his son and at the last minute he puts a ram in the thicket.
God gives illogical instruction.
His timing is not our timing.
His ways are not our ways!!! As much as we would like them to be, THEY ARE NOT!!!
Last week on our Monday call, Ms. Chris Hall said she heard the words “Prayer Summit” in her spirit. She wasn’t given any more than that. We didn’t have any more to go on. Then, a day later she saw an advertisement for a virtual Prayer Summit that was going to be taking place. However, for me, that didn’t seem to be all there was to it. There seemed to be more, and there definitely seemed to be more for us at Destiny’s Calling Ministries.
But What???
I wish I had the answer to that, but I don’t. All I know is that we are continuing to seek God for His leading and His direction. Will you join us in prayer as we seek the Lord for what His heart is? And then keep your eyes open for an announcement regarding a DCM Prayer Summit!!! It’s happening soon.
