The 10 Days of Awe

Greetings Mighty Warriors,

When you receive this message, if you are reading it on Sunday, it will be the final day of the New Years Weekend!!!  How exciting……

You may be thinking, she’s crazy it’s September.  Yes, it is September.  However on the Hebraic calendar, it is Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year!!! 

It’s a time of celebration!!!  A time to recognize ALL God has done for us. 

That being said, between September 18^th and September 28^th are the 10 Days of Awe.   These 10 days lead us into the holiest 25 hours of the year called, Day of Atonement. 

The 10 Days of Awe are regarded as the time for introspection and repentance.  And in the Jewish faith, it is believed that the gate of Heaven is Uniquely Open for our Petitions and Intercession.  That’s pretty significant, I think.  It’s a time of reflection and positioning ourselves, with God, for the coming year.  It’s a time to get right with God and right with man.  It’s a time to “Fix what is Broken” 

So, whatever is broken, let’s not take it into the new year.  Let’s repair what needs to be repaired.  Ask the Lord to show you what you are to do to fix the broken things and then do it.  Let’s redeem the moments and years.  Let’s repair even the little things.  That could be, tasks that we haven’t completed.  The book you were supposed to write.  Things that you committed to and God has said that assignment is over.  What is it???  I promise, if you go to God and ask, He will tell you.

This is the time, in these 10 days, to release all that God says to release.
