NOW is the TIME!

Greetings Everyone!!!

It’s that time again to gather and hear what thus saith the Lord.  I believe it is a very exciting time and season that the body of Christ has entered into and I’m excited about it.

As we conclude the celebrations of Rosh Hassanah, Yom Kippur, Day of Atonement and The Feast of Tabernacles – I’ve been asking…….what’s next God.  I don’t know about you but for me, once the excitement of the holidays has come and gone – I’m pretty much done…mentally, physically and emotionally and finding myself right where I was before it all began – empty and somewhat lost – expecting the great and experiencing the exact opposite.  Since our call last week, I haven’t been able to get this scripture out of my head – Ecclesiastes 3 in its entirety, but mainly focusing on verse 1-8.

A Time for Everything

There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens:

a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.

As we briefly discussed on last Monday’s call, I believe God wants us to be mindful of the times and seasons that we are living in so we’re not caught off guard or taken by surprise when we find ourselves and the world in which we live experiencing unexplainable situations and circumstances.  I believe we need to be reminded often that God is not subject to time – that there is nothing under the sun that catches Him by surprise.  God moves in cycles and seasons – He’s not subject to our time clocks.  And with that being said…..we to need to know those cycles and seasons; when to pray, fast, be still, take authority or just simply receive.

Many of us may recall the study we did earlier in the year Experiencing God – knowing and doing the will of God; well I believe we we have and continue to experienced God, we are continually developing our relationship with Him (knowing Him) and in order for us to be effective and in alignment with God to do His will…………..we have to know the times and season in which God moves.

God has provided us with knowledge of His High Holy Days and why we should acknowledge them so that we might be in position to be positioned for the next.  So with that being said, as we bring the Feast of Tabernacles to a close, this is the first time that I personally have a sense of the season that I’m in and that I believe we are all in.

Its Harvest Time……..and I’m not just talking about monetary fruit…but not excluding it either.  I believe God has a word for us and I pray that you will join us this Monday night to hear what thus saith the Lord.

There is not a Monday night that I hang up the phone and say…..man I wish I hadn’t called in tonight, nothing said pertained to me or benefited me.  Ladies and gentlemen, it’s the exact opposite, every Monday night God show’s up and meets me right where I am and feeds me with manna straight from Heaven.  Will you join us?

Blessings,
