What promise are you waiting on God for? What has the Lord spoken to you in your quiet time that you haven’t seen the fullness of? As we are on the eve of Pentecost, my prayer is that we remember what Pentecost stands for……A Promise to Come!!! Your Promise from God is on the way. Expect, Anticipate and know that your promise is coming. God is not a man that He can lie. What He says in private He will show the result publicly. God is going to show up, show off and get ALL of the credit when He answers your prayers openly and for all to see.
One of the greatest benefits that Pentecost gave us was the Power that came with the Holy Spirit. Draw on that power now. Praise God for the power of the Holy Spirit. Walk in that Power. You have the power to overcome and to be His witness in all of Jerusalem, that means wherever you go. Stand up and be a force to be challenged. You can make a difference if you just walk in your authority. You are a Powerhouse!!! Take your rightful position and Walk in it!!!
On the eve of Pentecost may you take a few moments to re-read Acts, especially the second chapter. Maybe even fast something and spend a little extra time praying. The 120 were in the Upper Room waiting on the Holy Spirit. Are you in your wait position? Your position of anticipation? Your position of expectancy? Are you ready to receive what the Lord has for you? Power is coming this Sunday as we celebrate Pentecost, my question is; Will you be ready to receive the fresh power and touch from the Holy Spirit. A fresh anointing of Power, and of boldness. We don’t have to wait days for the Holy Spirit to come, just 24 hours. Is that too long for us to sacrifice our time for Him and His Gift??? I think not.
We are believing for Revival. Could this Pentecost be the catalyst to the Tsunami of blessings that the Lord spoke years ago? Join us as we at Destiny’s Calling are praying for Revival. We are in search of the remnant that God is pulling together to stand in the gap. 2 Chronicles 7:14 says “if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” What better way to heal our land than through REVIVAL!!!
