A Cloud The Size Of A Man’s Hand

Elijah said to Ahab, ‘Go up, eat and drink; for there is the sound of rushing rain.’  So Ahab went up to eat and drink. Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; there he bowed himself down upon the earth and put his face between his knees.  He said to his servant, ‘Go up now, look towards the sea.’  He went up and looked, he said, ‘There is nothing.’  Then he said, ‘Go again seven times.’  At the seventh time he said, ‘Look, a little cloud no bigger than a person’s hand is rising out of the sea.’  Then he said, ‘Go and say to Ahab, “Harness your chariot and go down before the rain stops you.”‘ In a little while the heavens grew black with clouds and wind; there was heavy rain.  Ahab rode off and went to Jezreel.  But the hand of the LORD was on Elijah; he girded up his loins and ran in front of Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.  (1 Kings 18:41-44 NRSV)
Greetings Everyone,
As I sat down to write an email to remind everyone of our Monday night call, the story of Elijah and the Cloud came immediately to my mind.  Elijah HEARD ‘the sound of rushing rain’ in the Spirit.
I sense the abundance of rain coming.  People, we are in a season of blessing.  Financial, Personal, Relational, Emotional, Physical, and the list goes on. However, this is what I sense.
The blessings that God is pouring out right now are specifically for the area where we need it the most!!!  I believe other blessings will follow BUT, right now God wants to show up in supernatural ways and do the IMPOSSIBLE, the UNTHINKABLE, the UNEXPECTED AND bless us in crazy radical ways.  As we say at DCM….”God wants to SHOW UP, SHOW OFF and GET ALL OF THE CREDIT”  He’s looking for the difficult, the impossible!!!  Let’s petition Him with our biggest challenge, then sit back and see what He does.
Where do you need a blessing the most???  Email us at DestinysCallingMinistries@gmail.com and let us know so we can be praying and believing with you….We continue our weekly call every Monday at 7:30pm EST.  We hope you can join us. We’d love to hear your voice and share an hour with you.
