God has gone before you

Greetings Mighty Women and Men of God!!!

This was definitely a short week; Holidays will do that. ðŸ˜Š

I don’t know about you, but I feel like I am having to run to catch up with myself…… ðŸ˜Š

So, God is suggesting that this be a short, simple blog, as you too may be running to catch up with yourself……😊

There is one thing on my heart to share with all of you and it is this:  I feel led to encourage each of you to know that God has gone before you and is clearing a way and making crooked paths straight.  He says it in His word that He will do that!!!

Also, if you are in a situation and you don’t know how or what to pray, I’d like to remind you of the Lord’s Prayer.  The disciples went to Jesus and asked Him to teach them how to pray and this is what He gave them.  Straight from Jesus’ heart and mouth!!!  It’s perfect!!! And I believe if we will make it a practice to pray this way over every situation, God WILL show up!!!  Let’s try it for 30 days and see what God does!!!!

Matthew 6:9-13    New International Version

“And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. And when you pray, do not keep on babblinglike pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. 8 Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.  This, then, is how you should pray:

“‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.11 Give us today our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.

Also, at sundown on Friday, September 18th begins Rosh Hashana, the Jewish NEW YEAR!!!  Celebrating the Jewish Feasts is something that we at DCM have tried to adhere to for the past 6 years.  I am of the mindset that when we align with God’s calendar, God’s feasts, and God’s perfect prayer, then we align with God’s plan.

Feasts are invitations, from God, to join Him!!

We will be talking more about Rosh Hashana, (the Jewish New Year), The Days of Awe, and Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement) tomorrow evening on our Zoom Call.  We hope you can join us.

BIG, BIG HUGS!!!
